The first time of SBM to participate in the oil refinery project in Niger of Western Africa
The oil refinery project in Niger of Western Africa belongs to China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) signed in June 2010. And it is a part of Agadem oil exploration blocks project of CNPC. This oil refinery project with handling capacity of 1 million tons one year is located in Zinder of Niger.
CNPC is China's largest oil and gas producer and supplier, as well as one of the world's major oilfield service providers and a globally reputed contractor in engineering construction. With a presence in almost 70 countries, we are seeking an even greater international role. Due to the difficulties arising from the project location, CNPC required a supplier that had a strong presence all over the world, not only with respect to quality and reliability of its products and services but also the ability to provide technical assistance and parts supply to meet the challenging conditions in Niger.
