Iron ore crushing process

Processing of the iron ore includes crushing and screening. 40% of the iron ore produced is in the form of lumps which is subjected to crushing.

The iron ore produced from the mine is transported to the crushing and dry screening at the crusher plant for the final product recovery. The crushed ore is passed through vibratoring screens to yield three products namely +35 mm, -35 mm to +10 mm and -10 mm sizes, and +35 mm product is recycled to secondary crusher for -30 mm to +10 & - 10 mm.
