Calcium carbonate grinding mill

Calcium carbonate powder grinding plant
The calcium carbonate firstly go through crushing plant, then the crushed calcium carbonates is fed pneumatically through a venturieductor into the grinding mill. The calcium carbonate particles are pulverized by a high speed agitated grinding media. The grinding media can be stainless steel, chrome steel, alumina or zirconia. The micronized particles are entrained in the air stream and exit the grinding mill in a high efficiency air classifier. The on size particles are separated and the oversize returned to the mill for regrinding.The grinding media does not discharge from the mill.
The raw materials which are used to produce calcium carbonate powder can be calcite, marble, limestone,graphite, chalk, marble, travertine, dolomite, bones and teeth etc. The final calcium carbonate powder can be ground down to 3000 mesh (or 5 micron) in calcium carbonate grinding plant.
