Ball mill for lime slaking systems
Lime Slaking Systems
Lime is the cheapest and most commonly used alkali applied in water and waste water treatment for neutralisation. Lime is available in the form of quick lime or hydrated lime. If quick lime is used it must be slaked on site into a slurry. Lime Slaking Systems can be expanded to include Lime Storage Silos and Screw Conveyors.
Grinding mill for lime slaking
Vertical mill for limeslaking:
The vertical mill is an excellent lime slaker, producing finely ground, homogeneous, slow-settling, highly reactive slaked lime in a simple one-step operation.
Vertical roller mill is one advanced mill, adopting top technology domesic and abroad, and based on many years’ mill experiences. It can crush, dry, grind, and classify the materials.
LM series vertical roller mill can be widely used in such industries as cement, power, metallurgy, chemical industry, non-metallic mineral. It is used to grind granular and powdered materials into powder with required fineness.
Ball mills for limeslaking:
Ball mills are popular for slaking lime, particularly in mineral processing plants, which use ball mills as part of the size reduction process. Conventional slaking systems, such as paste or detention slakers, incorporate a grit removal system.
Ball mill is a key equipment to grind the crushed materials, and the ball mill is widely used in powder-making production line including cement, silicate, new-type building material, refractory material, fertilizer, ore dressing of ferrous metal and non-ferrous metal, glass ceramics, etc, and the ball mill can grind various ores and other materials with dry type and wet type. There are two kinds of ball mill, grate type and overfall type due to different ways of discharging material.
This total grinding process utilizes all residual reaction value, eliminates any grit handling or disposal problems, and decreases lime usage. This results in lower lime cost as well as lower operating costs.
